Summary

This study tested a drug called difelikefalin in 260 Chinese adults on hemodialysis who had moderate-to-severe itching. Participants received either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks, with an optional 14-week extension. The main goal was to see if the drug reduced itching intensity, measured by a daily 0-10 scale. Results showed improvement in itch scores compared to placebo.
