First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether a specific diet can help people pass very small gallstones (sludge-like stones less than 2 mm). One hundred adults with these tiny stones will be randomly assigned to either the special diet or a control diet for up to six days. The main goal is to see if the diet can completely clear the stones from the gallbladder, as confirmed by ultrasound.
