First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested a special diet (IBD-AID) plus a pea-protein drink in 20 adults with moderate-to-severe Crohn's disease who were starting a new biologic therapy. The goal was to see if this combination improved nutrient intake and body composition better than a standard diet alone. Results may help guide nutrition support during Crohn's flares.
