First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether taking dietary supplements can improve the health of the back of the eye in children with nearsightedness (myopia). About 156 children aged 8 to 13 will receive either supplements or a placebo for a period, and researchers will measure changes in eye structure using special imaging. The goal is to see if supplements can help control myopia progression.
