Pill tested to tame 'Bad' cholesterol
NCT ID NCT07492264
Summary
This study tested whether a daily food supplement tablet could help lower LDL ('bad') cholesterol in healthy adults who had borderline high levels. 90 participants followed a heart-healthy diet and were randomly assigned to take either the supplement or a placebo pill daily for 12 weeks. Researchers measured cholesterol and other health markers to see if the supplement made a difference compared to the placebo.
