NCT ID NCT04816955
First seen Jul 21, 2026 · Last updated Jul 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether official UK dietary recommendations for reducing free sugar intake actually help people eat less sugar. About 242 adults in southern England who get more than 5% of their energy from free sugars will receive either standard advice or advice plus extra practical tips. Researchers will track sugar intake, overall diet, and body mass index to see which approach works better.
