First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 14-day course of nitrate-rich beetroot juice can improve blood flow and memory in 25 adults with small vessel brain disease and diabetes. Participants will receive either the active juice or a placebo, and researchers will measure changes in brain activity and cognitive performance. The goal is to see if a simple dietary supplement can help manage cognitive decline.
