Can extra diet help pregnant women avoid diabetes shots?
NCT ID NCT06127823
Summary
This study is testing whether more frequent meetings with a dietitian can help pregnant women with gestational diabetes manage their blood sugar with diet alone, avoiding the need for insulin injections. It involves 214 women who are randomly assigned to receive either standard dietary advice or more intensive, personalized support. The main goal is to see if the extra support lowers the number of women who need to start insulin treatment.
