First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a structured diet and exercise program can help adults with cystic fibrosis increase their lean muscle mass. All participants are already taking the drug Trikafta (elexacaftor-tezacaftor-ivacaftor). The program combines dietary advice with adapted physical activity over 12 months. The goal is to improve muscle mass, which is linked to better lung function and overall health.
