NCT ID NCT06457451

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether a structured diet and exercise program can help adults with cystic fibrosis increase their lean muscle mass. Participants are already taking Trikafta, a medication that improves lung function and weight but can lead to new issues like overweight. The program combines dietary advice with adapted physical activity over 12 months. 100 adults will be randomly assigned to the program or standard care to see if muscle mass improves.
