First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a simple diaphragm release technique could improve sleep quality and breathing in 30 patients who had coronary artery bypass surgery. One group got standard cardiac rehab, while the other added the diaphragm release. Researchers measured lung function, sleep quality, breathing muscle strength, and pain levels to see if the extra technique made a difference.
