Safer anesthesia for kids? new study tests nerve block that may spare the diaphragm

Summary
This study looks at two ways to numb the arm for surgery in children aged 6 to 12. The goal is to see if a newer method (extra-fascial block) causes less temporary diaphragm paralysis than the standard method. 72 children having upper limb surgery will be enrolled to compare safety and pain control.
