Newborn rash relief: dressings vs. cream in hospital study
NCT ID NCT07186907
Summary
This study tested whether a special hydrocolloid dressing works better than standard zinc oxide cream for treating diaper rash in hospitalized newborns. Researchers followed 44 babies in a neonatal intensive care unit, checking their skin at regular intervals over three days. The goal was to see which treatment helped the rash heal faster and more completely.
