First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether offering a monthly financial allowance makes people with advanced kidney failure more likely to choose home dialysis instead of treatment at a center. Researchers will ask 500 adults in France to pick their preferred treatment options in a survey. The goal is to understand if money can help overcome barriers to home dialysis, which often offers better quality of life.
