NCT ID NCT04745533

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if a rapid, inexpensive antigen test works as well as the standard PCR test for finding COVID-19 in people who were close contacts of infected individuals but had no symptoms. The goal was to find a faster and cheaper way to detect contagious people so they can isolate sooner. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
