First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring oxygen levels in a central vein can help doctors decide if a septic shock patient needs more fluids. Researchers will compare this simple test to heart ultrasound measurements in 115 adults with septic shock. The goal is to find a faster, easier way to guide fluid treatment in the ICU.
