Summary
This study tests whether diacerein, a drug made from a compound found in rhubarb, can help treat metabolic fatty liver disease (MAFLD) in adults. About 74 adults aged 18 to 60 with MAFLD will receive either diacerein or a placebo to see if it reduces liver fat and improves liver health. The goal is to find a safe and effective treatment for this common liver condition.
