This study tested a smartphone app called DiaBuddy, designed to help families manage daily insulin doses and sick-day care for children with type 1 diabetes. First, researchers checked if the app gave advice matching expert guidelines. Then, 25 children used the app at home for three months to see if it improved their blood sugar control and quality of life.
