Magnetic back treatment could ease diabetic stomach paralysis

NCT ID NCT05273788

Summary

This study is testing a new, non-invasive magnetic therapy applied to the back to see if it can reduce symptoms of diabetic gastroparesis, a condition where the stomach empties too slowly. Researchers will compare the real treatment to a sham (fake) treatment in 48 adults with moderate to severe symptoms. The goal is to see if this therapy can improve stomach function and quality of life for people living with this condition.
