Summary

This study tested two different advanced wound coverings to help heal foot ulcers in people with diabetes. Researchers compared a collagen-based skin substitute against a membrane made from human placental tissue, both used alongside standard wound care. The trial involved 28 participants and measured how well and quickly their wounds healed over four weeks.
