Can your smartphone help heal diabetic foot sores?
NCT ID NCT03942081
Summary
This study is testing if photos from smartphones and special thermal cameras can accurately measure the size of diabetic foot ulcers. Researchers will compare pictures taken by medical staff, patients, and family members to see which method works best. The goal is to find easier ways to track these wounds, which could help with future care. The study involves one short clinic visit for about 500 people with diabetes and a current foot sore.
