Special insoles aim to steady steps for diabetics
NCT ID NCT06846476
Summary
This study tested whether custom-made shoe inserts (insoles) designed for people with diabetes can improve their balance and the way they walk. Researchers measured how these insoles affected foot pressure, body sway, and how much energy walking required. The goal was to see if these insoles could help prevent foot ulcers by making walking safer and less strenuous.
