First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested custom-made shoe inserts (insoles) designed for people with diabetic foot problems. The goal was to see if these insoles improve balance and walking. 25 adults with diabetes, aged 40-65, who had early-stage foot issues but no open wounds or amputations, took part. Researchers measured balance and walking efficiency with and without the insoles.
