Nurses teach dialysis patients how to fight diabetic foot woes

Summary
This study is testing whether a special education program can help diabetic patients who are on dialysis take better care of their feet. The program, led by nurses, teaches patients about foot care to try to prevent serious problems like ulcers and amputations. Researchers will compare the knowledge and behaviors of 50 patients who receive the training to those who do not.
