First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a nurse-led education program, based on the Health Belief Model, can improve foot care knowledge and habits in diabetic patients who are on hemodialysis. About 50 adults will be randomly assigned to receive the special training or usual care. The goal is to see if this approach helps prevent foot ulcers and amputations.
