First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at 99 people with type 2 diabetes who had repeated urinary tract infections (UTIs). Researchers compared those with good blood sugar control to those with poor control to see how well antibiotics worked. They checked if the infection cleared after 14 days and if it returned within 30 days. The goal was to understand how managing diabetes might help treat and prevent UTIs.
