First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether a smart home monitoring system with decision-support algorithms can help adults with type 2 diabetes who use insulin achieve better blood sugar control. About 51 participants will be split into three groups: one using the smart system, one using standard home monitoring, and one receiving usual care. The goal is to see if the smart system increases the time blood sugar stays in a healthy range over three months.
