New program aims to ease the emotional burden of diabetes for black young adults

Summary
This study is testing a new education and support program designed specifically for Black young adults (ages 18-30) with type 1 diabetes. The goal is to see if this culturally tailored program is practical to run and if it can help reduce the emotional stress of managing diabetes and improve blood sugar control. The research team will enroll 40 participants to compare the new program against standard diabetes education.
