Could your personality affect your diabetes?
NCT ID NCT02080741
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a person's behavior type—being impatient and proactive (Type A) or calm and slow (Type B)—is linked to specific biological markers in people with diabetes. Researchers enrolled 57 adults with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes for a single visit involving questionnaires, a psychologist interview, and a small blood draw. The goal was to see if these personality patterns connect to physical signs of stress and inflammation that might influence the disease.
