Can village meetings stop diabetes? afghan community trial aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07350694
Summary
This study is testing whether a community group program, where villagers meet to learn and plan actions together, can help prevent and control type 2 diabetes in rural Afghanistan. The research team will work with about 250 adults to see if this approach is practical and acceptable in their local communities. The goal is to create a culturally appropriate model that could improve health and be used for other diseases.
