Scientists probe double trouble: diabetes and carpal tunnel
NCT ID NCT06933511
Summary
This study aimed to understand how diabetic nerve damage (polyneuropathy) affects carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers examined 84 people, some with diabetes, some with carpal tunnel, and some with both. They used special ultrasound scans and hand function tests to see if the two conditions together cause worse symptoms or nerve changes.
