Scientists test new inhalable migraine drug in healthy volunteers

NCT ID NCT07226362

Summary

This early-stage study tested how the body absorbs a migraine medication called DHE when delivered through different methods: as an inhaled powder, through a nasal spray, and through an IV. The trial involved 44 healthy adults who tried all four versions of the medication in a random order. Researchers measured how much medication entered the bloodstream and how long it stayed, while checking for safety and side effects.
