Could simple sugar water ease the lingering pain of breast cancer survivors?
NCT ID NCT07378319
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple injection of sugar water can help breast cancer survivors who still have pain and tightness in their chest and armpit area after surgery, even after trying standard physical therapy. Doctors will use ultrasound to guide the injections into the tight tissue three times over several months. The goal is to see if this can improve arm function, reduce pain, and increase shoulder movement for these patients.
