First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study examined how two sedative drugs, dexmedetomidine and remimazolam, affect body temperature in 122 patients receiving spinal anesthesia for surgery. The researchers measured how often patients developed hypothermia (low body temperature) during and after surgery, as well as shivering. The goal was to better understand temperature changes with these medications.
