First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study examined how two sedative drugs, dexmedetomidine and remimazolam, affect body temperature in 122 patients receiving spinal anesthesia for surgery. The researchers measured how often patients developed hypothermia (low body temperature) during and after surgery, as well as shivering. The goal was to understand the temperature-related side effects of these medications to improve patient care.
