NCT ID NCT07233564
Summary
This study is testing if a steroid injection given near a painful tooth can reduce discomfort after a root canal procedure. It will compare the steroid dexamethasone against a placebo (saltwater) injection in 44 adults with severe tooth nerve pain. The main goal is to see if the steroid provides better pain relief in the first 24 hours after treatment.
