Summary

This study looks at how many doses of the steroid dexamethasone are best to give before and after knee replacement surgery. The goal is to find the dose that reduces pain, lowers the need for strong painkillers (opioids), and decreases nausea and vomiting. About 339 adults having their first knee replacement will take part.
