Doctors track healing time for gut injuries using special device

NCT ID NCT05476263

Summary

This study aims to collect real-world information on how well a specific medical device (Suprasorb CNPendo) works for treating serious injuries or leaks in the esophagus or rectum. It will observe about 110 adult patients who are already scheduled to receive this device as part of their standard medical care. The main goal is to see how many days it takes for patients to be able to eat normally or have a stoma relocated after the device is used.
