First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests an oral medication called deucrictibant for adults with acquired angioedema, a rare condition causing sudden, painful swelling. The drug comes in two forms: a long-acting tablet to prevent attacks and a fast-acting capsule to stop attacks once they start. About 32 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo to see if it safely reduces attack frequency and severity.
