New drug shrinks tumors in Hard-to-Treat lung cancer patients

Summary
This study tested a drug called trastuzumab deruxtecan in 152 people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (HER2-mutated) that had gotten worse after standard treatment. The main goal was to see if the drug could shrink tumors. The approach uses a targeted therapy to attack cancer cells with a specific genetic change.
