Summary

This study aims to develop and test a care package to prevent skin complications and swelling in patients who are physically restrained in intensive care units. The researchers will enroll 76 adults who are about to have their arms restrained. The care package includes several evidence-based steps to protect the skin and reduce the risk of problems like bruises, cuts, and swelling.
