New wound graft aims to heal stubborn diabetic and leg ulcers

Summary

This study tests a special wound covering made from donated placental tissue, called DermaBind TL, in 150 adults with diabetic foot ulcers or venous leg ulcers that won't heal. The goal is to see if it safely helps shrink the wound and prevent infection over 13 weeks. Participants must be 18-80 and have a specific type of diabetic foot or leg ulcer.
