New wound covering tested for stubborn diabetic and leg ulcers
NCT ID NCT07172893
Summary
This study is testing a wound covering called DermaBind TL, made from donated placental tissue, for people with chronic diabetic foot or venous leg ulcers that haven't healed with standard care. About 150 adult participants will have the graft applied to their wound and be monitored for 12 weeks to see if it helps protect the wound, prevents infection, and is safe to use. The main goal is to see if this treatment can help control these difficult wounds.
