Can teaching doctors to stop unneeded pills make seniors safer?
NCT ID NCT06470308
Summary
This study is testing whether training family doctors to safely reduce unnecessary medications improves care for older adults. Researchers are comparing doctors who receive special education on medication review with those who provide usual care. They will then see if patients of the trained doctors end up taking fewer potentially harmful or unnecessary pills.
