First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways of scanning the mouth to make digital dentures for people who have no teeth. Eight participants will try both an intra-oral scan (done inside the mouth) and an extra-oral scan (done on a model of the mouth) to see which method makes dentures that stay in place better. The goal is to find out which scanning technique leads to a more secure fit.
