3D scans reveal hidden jawbone loss from dentures
NCT ID NCT06562972
Summary
This study aimed to better understand how the jawbone shrinks over time in people who wear removable dentures. Researchers used advanced 3D scanning to precisely measure bone changes in 20 participants after their dentures were adjusted for a better fit. The goal was to gather detailed knowledge about bone loss patterns, not to test a new treatment.
