First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study tested two different materials for attachments on partial dentures to see which one is better for gum health and patient comfort. Twelve people with missing back teeth on both sides of their lower jaw took part. Half got attachments made from a fiber-reinforced composite, and the other half got porcelain-fused-to-metal attachments. The goal was to find out which type leads to healthier gums and happier patients.
