Summary
This study looked at how different force levels affect the movement of front teeth and the surrounding bone during orthodontic treatment. Twenty patients with certain types of crooked teeth had their upper first premolars removed and then received braces with either a short or long power arm to pull the front teeth back. Using 3D X-rays, the researchers measured changes in tooth position and bone thickness to understand which approach is safer and more effective.
