NCT ID NCT06967818
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a diode laser to a desensitizing gel (potassium nitrate) provides extra relief for people with sensitive teeth. Twenty-three adults received either the gel plus active laser or gel plus a sham (inactive) laser. Pain and quality of life were measured right after treatment and at 1, 3, and 6 months. The goal was to see if the laser boosts the gel's effect over time.
