Laser and gel team up to zap tooth pain

NCT ID NCT06967818

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested whether using a special gel plus a laser works better than the gel alone for treating sensitive teeth. Twenty-three adults with tooth sensitivity received either the gel with an active laser or the gel with a fake laser. Their pain was measured right after treatment and again at 1, 3, and 6 months to see which group had less discomfort.
