Summary
This study tested two different dental coatings to see which works better at preventing breakdown in children's permanent molars that have weak enamel. Researchers compared a resin infiltrant (Icon®) against a fluoride varnish (Clinpro XT®) in 17 children aged 6-13. The goal was to see which treatment better protects these vulnerable teeth from developing cavities or structural damage over six months.
